Do you think you can hardly wait for Spring?
Do you think nothing is happening?
Do you think there is nothing garden-related to do?

Look outside!
See that tiny nub on the end of tree branches?!
THAT is LIFE!!

Let your anticipation build!
Watch for tiny but important changes!
Savor the moment as Spring slowly but steadily glides in!

As far as garden-related things you can do, there are many….
  • ·         Have you scrubbed your pots so they are fresh and ready for your beautiful new plants from Forest Hill?
  • ·         Have you refreshed your memory of last years containers - do you want to remember a certain plant or color?
  • ·        Explore the Proven Winners website for fresh inspiration!
  • ·         Have you cleaned Winters debris from around your shrubs and perennials?
  • ·         If you, or a friend or neighbor has a Spring bloomer, like a lilac, forsythia, quince, or even fruit trees, see if you can snip off just a few branches to bring in to force. That is such an exciting thing to watch as you wait for Spring to finish dressing!

Now, sit back, relax and anticipate….
soon enough we will be weeding, watering, and sweating!!
